All I have to say about the new self-publishing wave versus traditional publishing and the fact that cheap downloads are selling like crazy is, "Thank you, e-reader manufacturers, for getting people to READ again!"
Or at least, buy cheap books. Do you know, of all the people I know who got or bought e-readers over the holiday, most say they have all bought many ebooks but have not read a single one... I will be very interested to see if the e-book thing dies down in several months, if it is all hype or if this huge influx will stay. Who knows? The only sure thing is change!
